Thank Yall for taking the time to read this 'Ible. Thank you for such a thorough Instructable! I have attempted to do a similar bridge in the past without success. I am intending to use a PC as a proxy server and have had trouble getting it's internet connection to pass through the 2nd adapter to the router.

I haven't tried yet, but I am confident that these steps should work for that purpose as well. Select connection method "Wired Connection" 4. Select "Auto-detect" for network device 5. Select "Manual" for IP address settings 6. Use the following internet connection settings: IP Address: Select MTU setting "Automatic" 8. Select Proxy server setting "Do not use" 9. Select UPnP setting "Enable" Press X button to save the settings Test the connection to see if it connects properly.

If it doesn't connect, retry the above steps. If everything was input correctly, retry configuring the computer again. If it connects, then you have successfully created a connection between your computer and PS3. Once your connection is established, it is time to test out a media server.

FWIW, I would prefer it to route through the PC because it's never switched off, and is more powerful in the multi-tasking area. Internet Connection Sharing has worked the same way basically since it was invented in Win Share the wireless with devices that connect to the wired connection.

Easy peasy. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. Twittering away the day at TVsBen. We hate spam too, unsubscribe at any time. Table of Contents.
